Why AEDs Save Lives

When someone experiences sudden cardiac arrest, every second counts. An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can restore a normal heart rhythm within minutes—dramatically increasing the chance of survival.

Without defibrillation, the chances of survival drop by 10% for every minute that passes. AEDs are designed to be simple to use, even by untrained bystanders, making them a critical tool in emergency response. Quick access to an AED can mean the difference between life and death.
