LifeLine is made up of passionate volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to help make the Cayman Islands safer. No one receives a salary—our mission is fueled entirely by community spirit and a shared commitment to saving lives.

Our Directors & Supervisors

Meet Our Directors

LifeLine is guided by a passionate team of volunteer directors and supervisors who generously give their time, expertise, and leadership. From strategic planning to hands-on support in the field, their commitment ensures our programs run smoothly and our mission stays focused—protecting lives through preparedness and community action.

Christina Kish

Christina is a former attorney who left her legal career in 2020 to dedicate herself fully to

LifeLine. Inspired by her family’s diagnosis with Long QT Syndrome, she has become a

passionate advocate for CPR/AED education and heart safety in the community.

Glenna Black

Glenna has called Cayman home since 2000 and is a passionate supporter of local causes.

After the sudden loss of her husband to a genetic heart condition, she founded the Julian Black

Community Star Trust and now serves as a LifeLine director, championing heart health and

community giving.

Sharon Philbrick

Originally from Canada, Sharon relocated to Cayman in 2019 after running her own home gym,

where she gained a deep appreciation for the importance of CPR and AED access. Now retired,

she serves as a LifeLine director, dedicated to fostering teamwork, inclusion, and lasting

community impact.

Wendy Johnston

Wendy, a former Assistant Director with the Canada Revenue Agency, oversaw her

department’s Workplace Health and Safety portfolio, including AED program implementation

and CPR training. Since moving to Cayman in 2012, she has brought that expertise to LifeLine

as the coordinator of the LifeForce Programme.

Marc Thomas

Marc is a retired Chartered Accountant with over 35 years of experience in finance and legal

management in the Cayman Islands. A passionate advocate for AED access, he now volunteers

with several charities—including LifeLine—after witnessing the life-saving power of AEDs in his

own community.

Meet Our Volunteers

LifeLine is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers who contribute their talents across a range of areas-from photography and IT support to communications and administrative tasks. Their behind-the-scenes efforts help power our mission and keep everything running smoothly.

Claire Scott

Originally from Scotland, Claire brings her background in destination management and events

to LifeLine, where she has been an invaluable volunteer since moving to Cayman in 2019. Her

dedication and countless hours spent organizing and refining our database have made a lasting

impact on the efficiency of our operations.

Ben Webster

Ben leads LifeLine’s technology efforts, having implemented a secure and modern IT platform to

support our growing digital operations. With deep family roots in the Cayman Islands, he’s a

familiar face in the community and actively supports several charities, including as a Past

President of the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman.

Bouke Maddock

When he’s not busy selling homes with Williams2, Bouke generously volunteers his time as

LifeLine’s unofficial photographer. From headshots to event coverage, he has helped capture

some of our most memorable moments with creativity and care.

LifeForce Volunteers

LifeLine’s LifeForce volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission. These dedicated individuals regularly inspect AEDs across the Cayman Islands to ensure they are fully functional and rescue ready. Their commitment helps make every minute count in a cardiac emergency—saving lives by keeping our communities prepared.
